JT Moy lives in Auckland, New Zealand. He is a writer with a background in medicine, psychiatry, and careers consulting.
He is fascinated by what stirs and motivates people and injects this into epic tales of conflict, emotion, and dysfunctional relationships — it was either that or continue to mess with real people’s lives.
As a doctor, he once worked in hospitals and psychiatric clinics around the country but had trouble discerning the patients from staff. He counts himself lucky to have escaped.
After that he began and continues a successful part-time business as a career-change consultant.
The rest of the time, he scribbles stories in a darkened room where dragons claw at his grasp on reality. They’re beginning to say it is about time they took him back to the asylum.
He has one wife, two children, and two cats. In his spare time he enjoys archery, video games, and sea monkeys.
Current work-in-progress: JT is writing a 3-book series (‘The Technomancer Chronicles’) that continues from The Stormcrafter Chronicles. Karisa is the main character as an expected foe overthrows the Ancient Lands.
